All pilots are ultimately responsible for their flight planning, including routing and fuel.

vAMSYS is well integrated with simBrief, which remains our recommended software for the most accurate flight planning possible.

Fuel Planning

Pilots must ensure when booking their flight through vAMSYS Phoenix, the correct fuel is entered. You must ensure that taxi time calculations are realistic to avoid carrying excess fuel, or not having enough.

Online network flying into busy events may require additional fuel to be carried. We recommend no more than 20 minutes of extra fuel when travelling to an outstation, and no more than 15 minutes of extra fuel when travelling to a base in the UK.

Fuel bunkering for further legs is not recommended.
