ACARS Tracking

As with all vAMSYS Virtual Airlines, we use the in-house flight tracking software known as Pegasus. All flights must therefore be tracked using Pegasus.

Introduction to Pegasus​

Pegasus is a simple flight tracking application. Once you have a flight booked with us, it will appear in Pegasus ready to start tracking.

Do not rewind or replay your flight while Pegasus is running and recording your flight. These functions are not video replays and will negatively effect your PIREP by recording your flight path and/or landing multiple times. Submit your PIREP prior to reviewing your flight.

Do not start the recording of your flight before your sim is fully loaded. Please wait for it to finish loading and only then start recording. Otherwise your start location might be recorded over null island.

Comments​

Comments cannot be added directly into Pegasus and must be added manually on Phoenix. If you need to add a comment to a PIREP, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to My Profile in Phoenix
  2. Click on PIREPs
  3. Find the relevant PIREP and click on the eye icon
  4. In the top right corner, you will see PIREP COMMENTS with a button below to add a comment
  5. Type in your comment and then click Submit

If you enter a comment onto an approved PIREP, it will be sent back for staff review. Only do this if it is necessary. If you need to make the staff team aware of something, it is preferred to use Discord and open a ticket.
