Staff and Honourary Ranks

Our staff team is split into three levels:

  • Leadership Team
  • Senior Staff Team
  • Staff Team

We also have one honourary rank for departing members of staff or members who have made significant contributions to the virtual airline as recognition for their hard work:

  • Chief Pilot

Leadership Team Leadership​

The Leadership Team comprises of our virtual CEO and COO of vMonarch. Ultimately, they remain responsible for the virtual airline and the ongoing work within.

All sensitive matters, complaints and queries can be submitted to the Leadership Team via a Discord ticket, which remains visible only to the Leadership Team.

Senior Staff Team SrStaff​

The Senior Staff Team comprises of our two positions with supervisory position over a specific team. These are the:

  • Operations Manager
  • Membership Manager

Staff Team Staff​

The Staff Team comprises of members who have responsibility for either Operations or Membership. The roles and responsibilities of each staff member are not set in stone, but the following distinctions can be made for each department.

Operations Team​

The operations team is generally responsible for:

  • Route network management
  • Seasonal timetable changes
  • Fleet management
  • Tours and events
  • Group flights
  • PIREP reviews
  • Operational documentation and procedures
  • Statistic monitoring

Membership Team​

The membership team is generally responsible for:

  • Pilot membership management
  • New member orientation
  • Recruitment
  • Support and enquiries
  • Communication
  • Feedback and suggestions
  • Community standards and moderation
  • Recognition of pilots
  • External relationships

Joining the Staff Team​

Vacancies will be announced when the need arises for an additional member of one of our teams. This will be communicated via Discord.
